Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Visionary: Chart and execute the future course of our contract manufacturing business, aligning it with our company’s overall mission and goals
- Fueling Growth: Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities, nurture client connections, and expand our customer base
- Quality Command: Enforce rigorous quality and compliance standards (ISO 13485, FDA regulations, etc.) to guarantee efficient and safe delivery of medical devices to clients
- Operational Wizardry: Optimize manufacturing processes, streamline supply chain management, and allocate resources with precision
- Client Cultivator: Foster strong client partnerships, intuitively grasp their requirements, and deliver top-tier customer service. Strive to deliver high satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the medical device sector
- BS or MS in engineering is a must, and an MBA is a bonus
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in contract manufacturing with some customer-interfacing and/or business development responsibilities/roles
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality systems, and industry standards
- Project management expertise, proficiency in overseeing complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget
- Cross-functional collaboration, the ability to work effectively with different departments to achieve business objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience with virtual and in-person client pitches a plus
- Proven track record of leadership that showcases results, creativity, team building, and influence
- A keen strategic mind well-versed in the US medical device contract manufacturing arena encompassing products, pricing, customers, and competition
- Self-starter who can operate independently within a small medtech company
- Networking and industry relationships that can be leveraged for business growth a plus
- Experience with customer relationship management tools like HubSpot to track customer interactions and relationships a plus
